Brief

American Express worked with Red Ant to support its Top Treats campaign, run in partnership with toptable.com, Europe's leading restaurant reservation, review and search site:

  • To develop Top Treats, a website offering American Express cardmembers exclusive deals and bonus rewards at restaurants across the UK
  • To allow cardmembers to search for and book restaurants online through the Top Treats initiative
  • To promote the fact that cardmembers would receive double reward points for all bookings made through Top Treats and paid for using their American Express card

  • Campaign hailed as one of the smoothest and most successful for American Express in the UK
  • Amex was so impressed with the results that it commissioned Red Ant to develop the initiative to run throughout the year

American Express is the world’s largest credit card issuer, the premium network for high-spending cardmembers, a processor of millions of transactions daily, and a partner that provides business-building services to a worldwide merchant base. Almost 88 million people across the globe own an American Express card, and collectively they are responsible for annual purchases worth £399 billion.
