Brief

Andrex wanted to target and educate parents and nurseries about its Andrex Kids initiative, provide games and competitions and promote new products.

Red Ant strategy

  • Support Andrex’ objective by developing a bold, colourful and informative microsite

Tactics

  • Drive data capture by offering coupon downloads
  • Competitions for parents and nurseries
  • A user journey to incentivise parents to read more and kids to be engaged with the site, including images, games and activities all based on the iconic puppy theme

Results

  • 40,090 clicks through to the games link with 40% of those being repeat visitors
  • 7,771 competition entries in just over a month

Part of the Kimberly-Clark group of companies, which posts annual sales in excess of £1 billion, Andrex has held the position as the UK’s favourite toilet tissue for more than 40 years. Andrex is currently ranked 8th in Grocer magazine’s 100 Biggest British Brands and 25th in Superbrands’ top 500.
