Brief

Motability wanted to use its online presence to encourage customers to visit Motability events across the UK.

Red Ant strategy

  • Review and redesign the events website with a fresh and exciting look to entice visitors to view and return.

Tactics

  • Design and develop an accessible and standards compliant website with a fresh new look to lift the brand and convey excitement
  • Site is fully updateable through a tailored content management system to allow dealerships to submit and manage their own events
  • Offer user friendly interfaces and navigation, allowing the user to get quick access to regional events
  • Drive increased traffic to each of the Motability dealerships
  • Create a comprehensive ‘event search’ which allows the user to search by postcode for manufacturer, date or region and filter these results to only include events with certain options eg entertainment, refreshments.

Results

Results

  • The new dealer log in has provided dealers with a new marketing channel to promote their events, and this has resulted in an increase in enquiries into events and an increase in attendance

The Motability Scheme enables disabled people in the UK to lease a car, powered wheelchair or scooter simply by using their government-funded mobility allowances. More than 550,000 people currently use the scheme, and Motability has close links with specialist car dealers throughout the UK.
