iPhone Developer

One of Red Ant’s specialties is mobile app and website design and development for a wide range of high profile clients, particularly within the fashion & retail sectors.

We are looking for someone who is interested in the exciting world of mobile channel marketing and retail. A successful candidate would report to the Mobile Products Manager and would work with in-house and off-shore development teams to develop iPhone (and potentially other mobile) apps, to a high quality, and on time. Red Ant operates an agile development environment with a strong focus on reusable and extendable code. We are a small team, so the applicant should be personable and outgoing, and may from time to time be requested to help out with work outside of the standard job role, like pitch work – a great way to grow your skillset.

Video Production Trainee

3 month trial period based on £14,000 pa (+ shoot fees) | London

Revised after 3 months relative to skill base.

Red Ant Exposure creates content for a whole host of top brands such as Disney, MTV, AEG, Electrolux, Toyota and Adidas. We make on air and online content - everything from promo animations, commercials and documentary to TV development.

We're looking for a bright individual we can train up and fast track up the ladder. It's a demanding yet rewarding role, covering a range of in-house office duties as well as assisting editors (logging & prepping edits) and running and assisting on shoots.

The successful candidate will have at least 1 to 2 years' experience working as a freelance or in-house runner, assistant editor, researcher, AP or similar within production companies. You should have an understanding of the demanding nature of film and video production and the level of commitment required to excel in this space. Attention to detail is a critical attribute for whoever applies for this job. Experience with FCP and/or camera skills is an advantage, though not essential.

There will be opportunities for training in a multi-disciplined environment, with the potential to cover all aspects from production to postproduction.

Web Project Manager

We are currently seeking a talented web project manager to work within the Red Ant project management team. The role will be reporting to the Operations Manager, and will be responsible for project managing the delivery of new client websites and re-designs, delivering the projects on time, within budget and to high levels of quality.

This is a prime opportunity for a forward thinking candidate who has demonstrable experience in delivering web projects to a formal project management methodology. Candidates will be required to:

• Have an understanding of working on large scale projects and delivery of multiple projects in parallel
• Be able to use MS Project & MS Office Suite
• Demonstrate a high level of accuracy and attention to detail
• Show commercial awareness
• Excellent organisational and communication skills
• Show initiative, ideas and ambition

Practical experience of the web management, quality assurance and Information Architecture and PRINCE2 will all be of distinct interest.
