Oasis partners with Red Ant to introduce next generation consumer app

Our next-generation consumer app gives Oasis advanced browsing, customisable content and personalised features using our digital store platform. It is pre-integrated with leading commerce platforms through the platform’s stress-free backend integration capabilities

What Oasis wanted to achieve

Oasis wanted to give its customers a best-in-class mobile application which is not only rich in features but also capable of representing a scalable first step towards a more fully-connected retail experience.

What we delivered

The fully transactional application is feature rich:

  • Fully shoppable, offline-optimised catalogue with special focus on product imagery
  • Ability to have products delivered into store, via Oasis’ collect from store service
  • Store locator and barcode scanner, and theoOpportunity to offer event- and location- based interactivity and special offers
  • Personal profiles, wishlists and tailored style advice with built-in functionality for sharing, reviewing and commenting via blogs, email and social networks
  • Swipe function, where users can view products and swipe right to add them to their wishlist, or left to reject
  • Pre-integrated with Salesforce Cloud Commerce platform

Enabling connected retail experiences

The omnichannel nature of our consumer app has allowed Oasis to explore truly innovative customer experiences:

  • It offered shoppers ‘a once-in-a-fairy-tale chance’ to view an Autumn/Winter collection at The Extraordinarium, Oasis’ London-based pop-up experience
  • Thanks to the application, Oasis was able to marry ‘old-time’ customer service including customised keepsakes and rickshaws to transport customers to its flagship store with entirely up-to-date technology
  • Visitors could use the application to scan the barcodes of items they liked and ask to be sent an email when they are available in store - hailed as the ‘standout feature’ of the experience
